On April 6, 2017 Independent agency for accreditation and rating in accordance with the "Procedure for recognizing accreditation agencies in the field of education" approved by the Decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic dated 29.09.2015 №670 and the order of the Ministry of Education and Science №395/1 of 06/04/2017 was recognized as an accreditation body and included in the National register of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Inclusion of IAAR in the Register of the Ministry of education and science of the Kyrgyz Republic is an indicator of sustainable development of the agency with its significant normative and methodological base, professional composition of expert community and a focus on promoting a quality culture in Central Asia countries.

This recognition opens up new horizons for cooperation in conducting accreditation procedures for HEIs and educational programs in Kyrgyzstan as an international transboundary accreditation body.
