For the first time in Kazakhstan «Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating» (IAAR) together with the German «Accreditation, Certification and Quality assurance Institute» (ACQUIN) international specialized reaccreditation of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University was carried out from 13 to 15 November 2017. Initially, international accreditation of this University was carried out by ACQUIN in 2012.

The IAAR and ACQUIN joint international reaccreditation allowed the experts study in detail and provide collective assessment of thestated educational programs of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

Within the framework of this international project was conducted expert assessment of the educational programs from different education levels: Bachelor, Master and PhD on specialties – «International Relations», «Political Science», «International Law», «Economics», «Management» and «Innovation Management».

A feature of that joint accreditation is that the educational programs of the University have the opportunity to get simultaneously assessment and potential recognition of the two authoritative agencies – IAAR and АСQUIN which are full members of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and registered in the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR).
