There was a seminar on the theme: "The role of student in external quality assessment" to educate students the accreditation procedures on April 27, 2016.
The rector of the university Krzysztof Rybinski was participated in the seminar, who in his opening speech, was speaking about IT-solutions for education, science and business at the university. The seminar training was held by director of the center "Management in Education" of Narxoz University, the Chairman of the IAAR Expert Council - Skiba Marina Aleksandrovna. There was a discussion about accreditation procedures in Kazakhstan and abroad, questions about content of standards and evaluation criterias of the educational quality of the IAAR.
The director of the institutional and specialized accreditation of the IAAR - Inara Mukhtarova was talking about the criterias of selection of external experts of the IAAR, qualification requirements for experts, as well as the mechanism of questioning of academics and students in the process of the visit the external expert committee to the university. More than 50 students of Almaty universities have been certified by an Independent Agency for Accreditation and Rating.
