External expert commission (EEC) of Independent Agency of accreditation and rating (IAAR) has worked in Sh.Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University on May 15-17, 2016. . The commission carried out within the specialized accreditation of 17 educational programs. It is composed of domestic and foreign experts. Chairman of the EEC is Shkutina Larisa Arnoldovna, who is a doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor of the Buketov Karaganda State University (Karaganda).The goal of the EEC visit is the assessment of quality of educational programs according to the standards and criterias of specialized accreditation of the IAAR and making recommendations for the consideration of the accreditation of stated educational programs in the Accreditation Council.

Quality assessment was revealed through interviews, questionnaires of students and teachers. In addition to working with the target group, there were discussions with the students and lecturers of the university, graduates and employers. EEC members have attended the training sessions on educational programs, as well as visited the library, laboratories and computer classes, and gave evaluation to the material and technical base of the university.

The decision on accreditation of accredited educational programs will be taken at the next meeting of the Accreditation Council of the IAAR.
