Director and Head of International Projects and Public Relations of Independent agency for accreditation and rating (IAAR) took an active participation in the international conference "Kazakhstan in the Bologna Process: Achievements and Prospects", organized by the Department of Higher and Postgraduate Education in collaboration with the Centre of Bologna process and academic mobility of Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 25, 2016. Director of the IAAR, Alina Zhumagulova made a presentation on "The independent accreditation as an impementation tool of basic parameters of the Bologna Process" at the plenary session of the conference.

The conference members discussed the results of Kazakhstan achievments for six years of participation in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).

The following issues were discussed: problems of academic mobility development, the use of credit technology learning, evaluation of higher education on the basis of European standards, expanding the social dimension, the role of employers and students in the process of improving the quality of higher education.
