On October 25, 2018, the Advisor for Strategic Development of the IAAR, Gulnar Iskakova visited the Exhibition of Project Results “Capacity building in the field of higher education” (CBHE) and the Erasmus+ Information Day in Kazakhstan, held by the National Erasmus+ Office together with the Department of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the MES RK, the Council of Universities’ Rectors of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the European Union Office in Kazakhstan with the support of the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency of the European Commission.

The purpose of the exhibition and information days is to create conditions for familiarizing a wide range of stakeholders with the results of Erasmus+ CBHE projects to enhance their multiplier effect, familiarize participants with the requirements and innovations of the Fifth Call of this programme, with national and regional priorities, and give practical advice to those who want take part in Erasmus+ events (Actions “Capacity building in the field of higher education”, “International Credit Mobility”, “Jean Monnet”).

At the plenary session, the national coordinator of the Erasmus+ programme in Kazakhstan Sh.U. Tasbulatova, Vice-Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.K. Aymagambetov, Ambassador of the European Union Delegation to Kazakhstan Sven-Olov Carlsson, Rector of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University E.B. Sydykov, students and teachers - beneficiaries of the programme- made a presentation. The exhibition and information days will be held on October 25-26, 2018 on the basis of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
