The 13th European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF) “Broadening the scope of QA” take place on 15-17 November 2018 in Vienna, Austria, hosted by the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
The director of the IAAR, Alina Zhumagulova, and the Chairman of the Expert Council, Marina Skiba, take part in the Forum.
The first day of the Forum is devoted to the methodology of quality assurance, discussing the possibility of understanding quality assurance as a system and building a common understanding of the European approach to quality assurance.
During the second day, the participation of all stakeholders in the quality assurance processes and the various approaches of the accreditation bodies are discussed. Further, parallel training and discussions on the strategy for the development of a quality culture, the exchange of best quality assessment practices, the relationship between the quality and effectiveness of learning technologies are provided. During the second day, the issues of ensuring the interaction of quality assurance and development strategies, prospects for the development of quality assurance, including the accreditation of e-learning and distance learning, and innovations are repeatedly raised..
The third day of the Forum is dedicated to changing the landscape of higher education and the interaction between quality assurance processes and teaching and learning strategies.
The Forum is attended by representatives of accreditation bodies and universities.
