International Conference “Quality oriented education management in Central Asia” was held in Istanbul, Turkey, from September 11 to 12, 2012, in which the Manager of international projects of the IAAR Timur Y. Kanapyanov took part. The conference was held within the framework of enhanced cooperation between the Central Asian countries in the field of education. 
The purpose of the conference – elaboration and presentation of modeling tools for quality assurance and the effective management of education, as well as the exchange of experience in this field.
The conference was organized and held by the German International Cooperation (GIZ), Regional Program “Reform of Education Systems in Central Asia”. 
During the conference, panel discussions and working groups the problematic issues of the education systems in Central Asia were identified, and recommendations for the successful management of education for the region as a whole and for individual countries in particular were developed.  
Also, in the framework of given Conference the Memorandum of Understanding between Deutsche Gesellschaft f?r Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan was signed.
